My Million Dollar Mistake

About four years ago I went pro on producing content. I started taking it seriously. That meant hiring staff to help me grow, investing time, and investing money. Recording, editing, posting, replying to people. The whole operation.

But I made one mistake that cost me big: I did not have a solid system in place to capture leads.

At first it did not matter. The volume was manageable. Then it wasn't.

A video went viral overnight. Over a million views. The next day I had hundreds of unanswered calls, emails, and messages. No easy way to track them. No way to keep up with the demand. I missed out on hundreds of potential patients because I did not get back to them for weeks.

If you are getting serious about content, get your systems set up before you need them. Not after.

I use PerfectFlow.ai for this. It lets you set up automations to keep conversations going and the funnel working. But at a minimum, have something in place so you do not lose the leads you worked hard to get.

God Bless, Dr. Josh
